In Memory of Robert Sheldon Mills

Rob Mills
He is sorely missed by the diving community,
his close friends and of course his soul mate, September.
He passed pursuing the passion we all follow.

Robert Sheldon Mills passed away while on vacation in Bonaire on Friday, November 23, 2012 at the age of 50 years. Rob was born on September 19, 1962 in North Battleford, SK to Wendell and Lynda Mills. He grew up in both Lethbridge and Pincher Creek, graduating with the class of 1980 Mathew Halton Community School. Rob worked at Coca-Cola for almost thirty years starting as a swamper, to his final position as the Calgary Service Supervisor. He was very proud that his family was a part of the soft drink industry since the early 1900’s.

He met his true soul mate, September and they were married in July 1998. In 1999, they were introduced to the amazing adventures of diving. Their love of travel and diving took Rob and September all over the world, such as; Red Sea, Egypt, Cuba, Costa Rica, Turks and Caicos, Belize, Coco Islands, Paris France, Cayman Islands, Jamaica and several destinations around Vancouver Island. For several years they lead dive trips and have the honour, on their Antarctica 2012 trip, to be the first ever night divers in Antarctica.
