New members welcome – (New friends and Dive Buddies provided)
WHAT: Camping, Recreational Diving, Pancake Breakfast, Pot Luck Dinner, Fireside Stories, Lots of Fun for Divers and non-diving campers alike.
WHEN: Camp fire Friday night and Saturday night
Pot Luck Dinner Saturday evening at 7:00 pm
Diving Saturday and Sunday
(A map to the chicken will be provided.)
CAMPING: Lions Pioneer Park Campground in the Community of Winfield. We are in the unreserved group area. Look for the dive flag. The group site does not have power water or sewer. The campground does have showers. Most campers arrive after 5:00 pm on Friday.
DIVE PARK: Twin Lakes is about 3 Kms East of Winfield, south of # 13 highway. Look for the Green Atco trailer. The water is cold below 20 feet. Max depth is 110 feet, but most of the things to see are above 45 feet. A map of the dive park will be provided. Lots to see.
POTLUCK DINNER: Saturday evening at 7:00 pm at the group campsite in Lions Pioneer Park Campground in Winfield. Our potluck dinner is a wonderful gathering of hungry divers and guests, with tons of amazing food. This is the part of the weekend where the group really comes together to laugh, relax, tease, re-hash the day, plan more diving, swap tall tales, meet new dive buddies and build great friendships. Bring your favorite campfire food and stories to share. Some folks bring deserts, some bring a meat dish, some bring salads, and some bring veggies or carbs. We never know what’s for supper, but it’s always good, and there’s always lots to eat.
We try to eat as close to 7:00 as possible. Allow extra cooking time as BBQs and campfires take longer than the stove at home.
COST: Each camper pays their own camping fees and brings a dish for the Potluck.

This event is dedicated to Rob Mills who passed in the fall of 2012, he was one of us nutters who just have to get one last dive in before the season is over, even if we had to shovel a path to the lake.
Ready for a cool dive experience? Join us for the last dive of the year. Meet at the Minniwanka plaque site. Arrive between 9-10, dive briefing at 10am. Do 1 or 2 dives, depending on your buddy. Dress for the weather. Carpooling is suggested, there is limited parking.
If water is frozen, we head for lunch instead. Hot water/hot chocolate provided.
We plan on one (1) dive, more for those brave soles that came prepared with heaters and hot water to thaw gear out for a second.
Join Underwater Outlaws SCUBA Club Members and their Invited guests for The Annual General Meeting to be held at the Joyce on 4th (506 24 Ave SW, Calgary AB).
This year is going to look a little bit different!
Along with updating our members on everything club related, we want to hear about everything member related! We’re hoping to have members show what they’ve been up to in fun 5-10 minute presentations! We are also looking for a few divers that would like to make a short(5-10min) presentation about something interesting that divers have been doing this year, to liven up the event.
Let us know if you’d like to join the board, put on a presentation, or have anything you’d like to bring up by emailing.
